Nikki and Anthony met at a University of Colorado football game in 1996. Ironically, our first conversation was about a mutual desire to be involved in missions. We were married August 15, 1998, and after one year of working in the professional world, we followed God’s call to attend Denver Seminary. Anthony received a Masters of Divinity and Nikki received an MA in Educational Ministries.

Before we were married God ignited both of our hearts with a passion for the local church. We realized that so many of the young people we knew were interested in God, but they had no one to ask questions about Jesus. This revelation fueled our passion to plant churches that would speak to the youth culture in places where they are needed most. Since 2004, this passion is being lived out in Turin, Italy where we have been a part of three churches plants, in Turin, in Milan and, now, in Chieri. There God has added to our family four children: Siena, Samuele, Asher and Jessi. In addition, we founded and lead a Christ-centered outdoor adventure ministry called “Into the Wilderness (ITW),” the only ministry of its kind in Italy. Through ITW, we have seen God reach into the hearts of young people to free them of their fears and call them into an adventure with Him. Over 1.000 people have experienced the gospel through outdoor adventure and are being sent back to local churches with a desire to take responsibility to share the gospel and serve.

Nikki e Anthony si sono conosciuti a una partita di football americana all”Università di Colorado in 1996. In modo ironico, la nostra prima conversazione era di un desiderio reciproco di essere coinvolti nella missione. Ci siamo sposati il 15 agosto, 1998 e dopo un anno di lavoro nel mondo professionale abbiamo seguito la chiamata di Dio a frequentare Denver Seminary in Colorado. Anthony ha ricevuto un masters in teologia e Nikki ha ricevuto una laurea nel ministero di insegnamento.

Prima sposarsi, Dio ha infuso entrambi dei nostri cuori con una passione per la chiesa locale. Ci siamo resi conto che tanti giovani sono interessati di Dio, ma non hanno nessuno a porre delle loro domande su Gesù. Questa rivelazione carburava la nostra passione per fondare delle chiese che parlavano alla cultura giovanile in luoghi dove sono più necessari. Dal 2004, questa passione viene messa in pratica in Italia. Abbiamo aiutato a fondare chiese a Torino, a Milano, e, adesso, a Chieri. Mentre siamo in Italia, Diio ha aggiunto alla nostra famiglia quattro figli: Siena, Samuele, Asher e Jessi. Inoltre, abbiamo fondato e guidato un ministero cristiano di avventura all’aperto chiamato “Into the Wilderness (ITW)”, l’unico ministero del suo genere in Italia. Attraverso l’ITW, abbiamo visto Dio penetrare nei cuori dei giovani per liberarli dalle loro paure e chiamarli in un’avventura con Lui. Oltre 1.000 persone hanno vissuto il vangelo attraverso l’avventura all’aria aperto e vengono rimandate alle chiese locali con il desiderio di vivere la responsabilità di condividere il vangelo e servire.
